Practitioners and experts into gender stereotypes are invited to reflect on possible actions that could be developed to reverse the situation, articulating indicators for supporting policy reflection and guide good practices mainly in teachers’ and parental support to girls towards choices of careers in STEM and related fields.

It developed a descriptive vision of the future, based on existing trends and drivers, and a normative vision outlining how future learning opportunities should be developed to contribute to social cohesion, socio-economic inclusion and economic growth.

Event: EDEN 2012 Annual Conference – Open Learning Generations. The upcoming EDEN 2012 Annual Conference will take place within the context of the European Year on Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations and it is entitled: OPEN LEARNING GENERATIONS, Closing the Gap from Generation "Y" to the Mature Lifelong Learners. LECH-e Project.
ORSEN: Online Resources for Special Education Needs. ORSEN is an exciting new project, funded under the European Lifelong Learning Programme, which focusses on the provision of innovative learning practices for special needs students from rural areas. Until October 2012, the project’s coordinators will collaborate on designing and delivering online resources aimed at giving SEN students, their parents and their teachers a fighting chance in an increasingly challenging education system.
