Marco Común Europeo de Competencia Digital

El Instituto de Prospectiva Tecnológica (IPTS) de la Comisión Europea presentó en su sede en Sevilla el borrador de propuesta de marco común de Competencia Digital en una jornada de trabajo con participación de expertos de toda Europa el pasado martes día 20, como parte del proyecto DIGCOMP iniciado en 2010. Los objetivos del proyecto DIGCOMP son los siguientes:
  • Identificar los componentes clave de la Competencia Digital en términos de conocimientos, destrezas y actitudes que se necesitan para ser competentes en el uso de medios digitales.
  • Desarrollar descriptores de Competencia Digital que establezcan un marco conceptual y pautas para su validación a nivel europeo, tomando en cuenta los actuales marcos disponibles.
  • Proponer una hoja de ruta para el posible uso y revisión del marco propuesto de Competencia Digital, aplicable a todos los niveles educativos, incluyendo los no formales.

Phil Banyard: “Education is the way to reduce cyber risks” 

    October was the
 European Cyber Security Month.The goal was to raise awareness about cyber risks. Among all internet users, children are one of the most vulnerable groups. Phil Banyard, Reader in Psychology at Nottingham Trent University, has been researching on how schools in the UK deal with those risks, and was interviewed by ElearningEuropa.info.

E-Learning Papers on Mobile Learning and Cloud Computing. Call for papers

Online Educa Berlin – Programme Premieres VIDEO EDUCA 

The challenge of “video as the new language of learning” will be tackled head-on at this year’s
 ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN (OEB), the largest global e-learning conference for the corporate, education and public service sectors, which will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Berlin from 28th to 30th of November.
